so, as per usual, it's been a while. the holidays came and went, and they were alright. working in retail has made me loathe the christmas season though, so i'm really glad to get it all over with. it's a tricky hatred though, because i love that i made a good amount of money over the last month, so i shouldn't complain. i guess.

( but i'm gonna complain about my holidays anyways...  )

sam continues to prove that he's the most amazing person and boyfriend (that i'm 99% positive i don't deserve, but i'm not saying anything). for the past month he told me that he didn't have much money for christmas so i wasn't getting much, and kept joking he was getting me a spanish to english dictionary. so i went to his parent's house on christmas day (after literally pulling teeth to get my family to leave my aunt's... no one seemed to care i had plans with my boyfriend for christmas day, and was supposed to get to his parent's house around 2, and didn't get there until 9... but i digress) and he told me i had 3 presents to open. he started with opening one gift first, and then i opened one gift. i only got him a few dvds: season 4 of always sunny, season 1 of eastbound and down, and independence day on bluray, and a speaker set up for his ipod for his basement, cause he had been using old computer speakers. and since he was all 'i don't have much to spend on you, you're only getting a few things' i thought they were good presents.

yeah, then i opened mine. the first one was a spanish to english dictionary, as promised. the second was a winter classic simon gagne flyers jersey, which was amazing. i've been asking for a black gagne jersey since like 8th grade, and i never got one, so i mean i kind of gave up on that. and the third?


that's where we're staying when we go to puerto rico for 5 days in may. and our 3 year anniversary is one of the days that we'll be there. so yeah, i was pretty much shocked when i opened it and figured out we were going on a vacation for just the two of us. i almost bawled my eyes out in front of his whole family. i'm still in shock. 

so, i guess my new year's resolution is to tone up and get a sweet beach bod for puerto rico, but other than that i haven't really thought about it. i have a lot of things i want to get done this year, (including school!) so hopefully this year proves to be awesome all around.

i think i've gotten a pretty good start. 

Man I haven't posted in forevers and a day.
Let's see... I went to the Psych ward for a week, that was interesting. Missed all my finals, but it worked out in the end (Incompletes for the win!). I'm feeling quite a bit better now :)
Didn't really celebrate Holiday anything - went to see Avatar with my sister and my boyfriend on Xmas, watched a lot of Dirty Jobs, and basically cuddled with either my boyfriend or one of 4 dogs (oh goodness, the dogs!).
The other day we bought some chain and a sled. YES we totally attached it to the back of a car! So much fun!
I'm still working at the gas station. It is A TON better than it was before. So much better.
Can't wait to move back to Akron 5 months!!! And GRADUATE!
I really miss Akron and I want to be close to my nephew. Such a cutie!
Yeah, I got nothing. I should do the photo 365 and just, like, do extra photos to catch up :p But I have no idea where my charger for my camera is. Maybe i should just buy film and use my mom's camera.

Yesterday was my Mom's Birthday - ya'll said Happy Birthday right? You should! Or she'll haunt you. Let's see, she'd be... 62? I guess. Yeah, that makes sense I think. 58 when she passed away in July of 2007 - wait would she be 61?
I'm so confused.
Anywho, she'd be old :p So Happy Birthday Mom!
And with that, I'm going to sleep. No work today, so I stayed up way too late. I'm getting my hair worked on later though - woot woot - I guess I've had my dreadlings for... omg. I just looked at when I put the pictures on Facebook and it says 8 months ago. Jesus? Really? I've been saying they're about 6 months old. I am so wrong. Wowee. 8 months!!! I'm so excited! That's freaking awesome! I definitely need to take pictures! And post in GetUp DreadUp!
